Support Spindle Club 2018 membership - Standard Edition Supported Spindles (annual subscription, four spindles)

Note - you can join at any time.

My Standard Edition Supported Spindle subscription club is your opportunity to build a collection of some of the best quality supported spindles available, that you'll treasure and will be a pleasure to use and admire.

THIS SUBSCRIPTION WILL COMMENCE WITH THE NEXT AVAILABLE ISSUE

Every three months approximately you will receive a new support spindle by mail. The actual style of spindle will vary - Russians, Tibetans, Dervishes and Purse Tibetans may all be offered at some stage though the focus tends to be on styles similar to Tibetan and Russian. All spindles will have titanium tips and shafts made from Dymondwood or Webbwood (a similar product).

Examples of some previous issues are shown in the photos here. Photos #1 and #2 show the 18th issue in the series (Dec 2017) - a lightweight tahkli-like spindle made in Montana and rare Cockspur Vine (a bright yellow Queensland wood).

Photo #3 is of issue #17 made in rare Purple Gidgee.

Photo #4 shows issue #15 for April issue #15 in the Standard Support Spindle Club. It is a lightweight midi size pu yok made in the very special Queensland allocasuarina known as Flame Oak (not related to true oaks of course, the wood just looked a bit similar to some early settlers).

Many of the woods selected for the club issues are unusual or have especially attractive figure. I will attempt to ensure each club release is sent out around the middle of the month meaning you should get your spindles by the end of March, June, September and December.

There will also be special offers from time to time available only to spindle club members, visit the members area of my website at www.thespindleshop.net to find these. As a club member you can register on my website for privileged access to the Spindle Club area on that site.

Spindle club members have special and valued role in my business. Their support allows me the time and funds to develop new designs, and allows also me to find unusual and high quality materials that may not be common from other suppliers. As a club member, in return for your annual subscription and the support this gives my work, you will receive periodic deliveries which will build into a special collection of unique work.

Airmail postage and packing are added by the Etsy shopping cart and vary with country of residence. Deliveries will commence immediately if the current issue is still available or up to about a couple of months later if you have just missed a model issue.
