The spindle shaft is made from Frogwood, which will resist warping with humidity changes. It is very hard and strong and gives a long lasting durable spindle. The spinning point is made from a titanium insert.

The thin large diameter whorl design adds duration to the spin while keeping the overall weight low. The spindle is finished to a very smooth surface, polished with a french polish and then a final gloss of carnauba wax for a long lasting shine and protection.
